Frosty Cola

The cubes descend – small spires of primordial cold, like spectral fragments from an unremembered era, tapping out a delicate prelude along transparent walls. Here, every subtle collision echoes the uncertain beginnings of days.

Then comes the cascade: a slow drain of sweetness spills forth, threading its way through crystal territory, gathering shadows, carrying faint memory of citrus groves and hidden sunshine. It flourishes, cresting into froth, momentarily rules.

At the apex, a fleeting empire – perfect yet doomed to dissolve. Each bubble surges upward like a new hope, then falters. In that muted pop of vanishing sparks, we sense the serene stillness of illusions, like aspirations that ascend swiftly, only to yield under their own mass.

This is life – a procession of expansions and contractions, where we cling to ephemeral triumphs while bracing for the next fall.

Leaning in, I breathe the bright perfume – vanilla-lemon laced tang meets caramel tone, an unlikely harmony bridging the sweet lime with pungent cinnamon. And I think of our contradictions, how we reconcile longing with patience, finding a certain solace in the blend of what we once were and what we become.

I graze the frothy tip, and it collapses like a castle undone by time, reminding me that every structure built of hope inevitably must transform.

In that unguarded release, the fizz recedes into a final, blissful quiet – like the concluding chord of a melody we never anticipated, but always craved.

The cubes shift, a slight reminder that even after crescendo, life lingers. And in this lingering calm, we hold the fragile residue of wonder – knowing that every sip is part invitation, part farewell.
