Untitled #2

Petrichor seeps through scorched soil after storms
an epiphany stirring along broad highways.
Evanescent triumphs flicker, half-remembered,
while effervescent pride crackles with each sunrise.

Cacophony once thundered across every boundary,
as frenetic wills clashed in fields of conflict.
Disgust lingered at each shortfall, yet hope refused to collapse.
Within the delirium of ambition flickers a quiet prayer,
faith threading through each aurora, each vow.

We endure, shaped by the blasts of battles old,
carrying God’s blessing in unsteady hands.
This immense land, restless and strong, holds us close,
its freedom scarred yet resolute,
promising a horizon still beckoning us onward.
